SNOWDEN WINEMAKERS DINNER AT RESTAURANT SIX89 IN CARBONDALE
Proceeds from the Evening to Benefit Local Chapter of Trout Unlimited


Carbondale, COLO. – Restaurant SIX89 is hosting a special winemaker’s dinner on May 4 at 6:30 p.m. The dinner will feature wines from Snowden, presented by owner Scott Snowden, and a five-course dinner prepared by SIX89 Chef/Owner Mark Fischer. The price is $68.90 per person, plus taxes and gratuity. Partial proceeds from the evening will benefit the local chapter of Trout Unlimited, which works to protect trout and salmon fisheries and their watershed. Snowden's estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a 22-acre vineyard, owned by Scott Snowden and his wife, Joann Ortega, in the hills of St. Helena. The vineyard is planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon, with small portions of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot as well. Winemaker John Gibson, who also makes wines for Vine Cliff Cellars, spent 12 years at Stag's Leap Wine Cellars before joining Snowden.
