SIX89 HOSTS SECOND ANNUAL S. RHODES WINEMAKER’S DINNER

The Best of Colorado in Local Food and Wine; $68.90 per person

Carbondale, COLO. – Restaurant SIX89 is planning a special evening for wine and food aficionados on Wednesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. The winemaker’s dinner will feature wines from Colorado-based S. Rhodes Vineyard, presented by winemaker Steve Rhodes and Bill Bentley of SIX89, and a six-course dinner prepared by SIX89 Chef/Owner Mark Fischer. The price is $68.90 per person, not including taxes and gratuity. SIX89 and S. Rhodes Vineyards represent the best Colorado has to offer.

S. Rhodes Vineyards specializes in premium red wines, hand-crafted in the traditional European style. Owner and winemaker, Steve Rhodes skillfully creates full-bodied, deeply colored wines of distinction. His wines were included among the “2001 Saveur 100,” an honor bestowed by the culinary publication Saveur. SIX89 sommelier Bill Bentley believes that Rhodes makes the best red wines in Colorado, with the Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc being standouts. S. Rhodes Vineyards is based in Hotchkiss, Colorado.
